I don't no where to begin my writing of His goodness as my life are so bless by Him. He is so good that even a wrecthed man that I am He still loves me and wants to bless me beyond measure. On 4th July 2009 (Saturday) the day I am coming to KL for 2 weeks of secondment as I represent PwC in basketball competition among the accounting firms.
Out of the sudden in the afternoon, the weather suddenly turned into a rainy day. It rains so heavily that I presuppose my flight would be delayed. Moreover, I also taught that the rain would stop after a few hours of downpour. Nonetheless, the rain did not stop as I have taught. Immediately, I converse with Abba. I said," Abba, could you please stop the rain before 6pm in order to allow me to reach the airport on-time as my flight is scheduled to depart at 7.10pm. Without a second taught whether the rain would or would not stop, I continue to rest in His peace.
As I prepared myself and get ready to depart to the airport, I look into the sky and stretch my hand a little towards the window, to my surprised the sky turned brighther and not even a drop fall into my palm. As I reached the airport around 6.30pm and had myself checked-in and board on the plane around 7.10pm, I then realised that what I prayed to Abba, He has answered. Then I immediately look outside the window and it raining. I rejoice in my heart because my Abba is so good and that He will bypass everything just to ensure my prayer to Him is answered. What i want to share here is that whatever you asked from Abba, He will grant it to you. Amen!
What The World Is We Are Not

Many of us who live in this world has been onslaught by many things which the world can offer us. Is a mindset influence! Do you want to prosper or be rich in the world's ways or Abba's way? Many of us may wants to follow the worldly system because we are being influence by the environment that we live in and the people that we mixed with. Honestly speaking, I have been working for almost a year now and sometimes my mind just swifted away from the truth. That's is why I am thankful to Paul who wrote in Romans 12:2 that we continuously renewing our mind through the Word of God. The Word washes us clean from every evils taught, every worldly mindset and our very own self-intelligence. Therefore, following own Abba's way is better than the world.

Behaviour Modification vs Inner Transformation
When I was in Form 1, I was a really mischievous student in the class and school. I was influenced by my classmates who were gangsters. They were involved in negative activities. For example, smoking, glue sniffing, truancy, using filthy language, fighting and so on. Therefore, I indulged in smoking because I thought off showing off, to be a “Tai lo”.
Then, when I was in Form 2, my attitude and behavior started to change. I disobeyed my parents by going out with my friends and staying at my friend’s place until the middle of the night. One of the days in school, I had a very hot temper. I didn’t like anyone to disturb me at all but my form teacher, Puan Heng; she scolded me for not doing her school work. I started to rebel and shouted at her with bad words. She was really hurt and asked the school’s afternoon supervisor, Puan Wong to settle the issue with me. I was caned and wasn’t allowed to go to school for a week. That situation made me even naughtier than before.
When I stepped into Form 3, I told myself that there is still 10 more months before I sit for my PMR exam. During that time, I didn’t study hard and my time in school was just a waste. For instance, I slept in class. Sometimes I would smoke and gamble with my friends. These things carried on until the month of November – the month I sat for the exam. After the PMR results were released, I had no A’s but a lot of E’s. I felt ashamed and embarrassed.
I was discouraged when I was posted to the last two classes – 4H in Form Four. However, I was alone in the class. My gang wasn’t with me because they have been posted to a better classes. I was surprised when I got 100 marks for my Moral monthly test. At that very point of time, it encouraged me to study hard. So, I made a commitment to study hard for my SPM. Since then until Form Five, I would always get first in class. Although I got first place in class, it doesn’t satisfy me. I used my own strength to study and even caused me to fall sick for a whole week. But, I thank God He sent a Christian teacher, Mr. Cheli (My Pastor In Kuching) who was willing to humble himself by giving my classmates some money to buy me some fruits. I was really touched and encouraged by that, but I did not have an opportunity to know Christ then. I kept struggling with my own strength to sit for my SPM exam, and the results were quite good. I had the opportunity to study Form Six.
When I was in Lower Six, I had some struggles in my relationship with some of my classmates. One Friday, I held a meeting with other clubs’ boards of directors and one of the girls in the meeting is a Christian. She asked me to discuss the agenda with her but I wasn’t willing. I was very angry and shouted at her with foul languages at the end of the meeting. It was a really bad experience for me because I felt that I have changed. But it was just an outside change. I was shocked that I suddenly burst out bad words. I really did not want that to happen. But, thank God that I received Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior in the Inter School Christian Fellowship) ISCF meeting in school on the same day. I really wanted changing to take place in my life. I wanted my life to grow strong. Then, I started to know God more and more. Praise the Lord that He has changed my life from step to step during my time in Upper Six. Though Form Six was difficult, but I felt the love, peace and joy of God in my life. From these, I learnt to trust God more and more and believe Him at all times. I thank God that I have a cell group in Church.
When my STPM exam was approaching, we always get together and pray. We prayed that whatever questions we study will come out (that doesn’t mean we only study the spotted questions but we have studied all our text books and others materials) because we believe that we are God’s children and that He will show His grace and favor upon us. Praise God that He has blessed me in my exam. Even when the result hasn’t been revealed, I already knew that God will give me straight A’s in my STPM. Thank God, Hallelujah, it really happened that on the 26th of February, I got straight A’s in my STPM exam. Glory to Abba!
A Father; A Hero
Is your earthly father a hero to you? Imagine when you break your father's most lovable bonsai, does he immediately scolds you or does he asks you ''Son, are you alright''? The former one may sound hush to somebody but the latter one just warm the heart of many.
Father; what a intimate name to call upon when you are in trouble. Look at the primary school students or flash back to your childhood year, when they have a fight or had a disagreement with their fellow peers, what comes out from their mouth is 'I will tell my father'. This goes to show how big is their father and it brings a sense of protection and security. No matter how hard or how difficult your problem is, run to your Father and He will show your the way. For your Father is your Shelter, Refuge and Strength. He will hide you under the shadow of His wings and you will sow like an eagle.

Barcelona - The Champion of Europe
The night decided that Barcelona; the Catalan side was the Champion of Europe. However, credit to all the Manchester United players who have tried their best and come back stronger next year to fight for the title. I still have the confident that MU can do better next year. Glory to MU and Sir Alex Ferguson.
Battle in Rome
Tomorrow midnight will be a great night for both English team (Manchester United) and Spanish team (Barcelona) to play against in Rome for Champion League final. A night that every football fans are waiting for. Who will win the Champion League this season? I persoanally have the confident that my team (Manchester United) will retain the trophy and be the King of Europe. Credit to Sir Alex Ferguson who managed to bring his team to win the 18th EPL Champion. What a wonderful event to celebrate. I will get ready my jersey - 9 Berbatov for the night. Cheering for Manchester United to reatin the Champion League trophy. Glory glory Man United. Will updates tomorrow live at Rome.

Sabah Islands Trip
Astonished! Surprised! Excited! What a wonderful adjectives. All expressed by felling when I get to know that I will be on job in KK(Short form for Kota Kinabalu). Wonderful huh!
4 of us went in October. We took Malaysia Airlines and reach KK on Monday morning. As usual, this is part of our working lifestyle. Before the plane landed, looking out to the window, the water is so blue. My mind thinks only on the weekend. Planning ahead where to venture and eat. All about activities and food. Come back! Come back! (Telling myself not to wonder).
As the days go passed and the weekend is here, we set our mind on the islands. Pulau Sipandan the famous of all and the first episode of The Survivor is not what I am going after (Will be my next target in near future). Nevertheless, Manukan, Sapi and Mamutik is my target.
On that Saturday morning, 4 of us woke up early and had our breakfast at Best Western Kinabalu Daya Hotel; the place where we stay. Then we walk to Jesselton Point; the only place to those islands mentioned above. We only pay about RM30 per person to those islands.
As usual, we took few pictures at the point before departure. Our first destination is Manukan Island-the most popular and the most people recommended island. What you can do when you are in the island? Snorkeling, various water sports or even scuba diving. Eventually, we opted for a banana boat. Is fun and scary. The girls just screamed all the way and we had twice 360 degree turn. The whole activity only took us about 20 minutes to finish the ride and we paid RM120 for 4 person. Does it value for money?
Next, we proceed to Mamutik island. The weather is so warm and is the best time to go snorkeling. Remember, you should bring along a sunblock with you while you are going to a beach. we just spent a few hours at the island. Relaxing near the beach and had a sun bathing. Is so cool Isn't it?
Then, we proceed to Sapi island and had a wonderful time there. Meeting with few Japanese girls and managed to took some pictures with them. As the day is approaching to evening, we then depart to Jesselton point and ready for the night life.
Rainforest Kayaking Trip
One of the great blessings in my life is to be blessed with RM188 Rainforest Kayaking free ticket. This has been a dream in my life to go for Kayaking. Finally, I made it! The trip was held on 22 March 2009 the day right after my birthday. Wonderful! Is so wonderful.
On the day itself, I was introduce to few mates who went for kayaking. Two couples (Roger and Denise, Albert and Miss Lau), Desmond, the instructor (Francis) and his assistant (Asmi). The moment we get into the van, noises begin to rhythm and songs from the radio overtook. After a few minutes, Francis began to explain the beauty of kayaking and the nature that lies behind it. We were so astonished!! Wah....................
After a long session of 'ice-breaking', we all have the same question in mind. Where are we going for Kayaking? A good question to ask huh..Finally, the quest was resolved as Francis reveals that we are going to Borneo Highlands. Wah...................Again, the 'wah' is so loud this time.
When we reached Kampung Bengoh, everyone got down from the van and get ready for the challenge. Before we start, Francis taught us how to paddle as most of us were the firs timer. After the rehearsal, we carried all the three kayaks into the river. The moment we stepped down the slope, we yell Wow! Wow! Wow! The water is so clean. Let's jump into the water and get wet. Before that, let's take a nice shot. Smile everyone :-) while holding your paddle.
The journey begin! Each of us was assigned with a partner. Let's paddle buddies while everyone was laughing. We were so amazed by the clean water underneath. We paddle hard but enjoying. Laughter begin to fill the air as we go along until we reach a small valley where the rainfall is hidden.
Everyone got down from their kayak and walked towards the rainfall. The sound of the gashing water can be heard so clearly from afar. Roger and Denise did a great job by posting a 'superman' while we were busy capturing them with our cameras.
After a 15 minutes of resting while getting ourselves wet, we continue our journey until noon where we stop for a lunch break. Guess what? Our lunch is each person has a fried 'Bok Pia'. The moment we put into our mouth and swallowed it into our stomach, the next word that came out from each person mouth is.......What a delicious food we have for lunch. Emmm....Nice! Nice! At last, the greatest show begins where Denise and Desmond opted to have a 'You jump I jump' scene. The gentleness of Desmond has given Denise the opportunity to jump first. Of course, the best save for the last. Here comes Desmond. JUMP! JUMP! JUMP! Finally, he jumped and Albert took a nice shot. Yeah!!
''Let's continue, as there are many beautiful scenarios to behold '', said Francis. As we paddle along, here comes the heroin again. Denise, who is the hyperactive type volunteered herself to be 'Jane' but no 'Tarzan' from guys.Hahaha....Bravo to you Denise! Water from the river seems to be running faster but that doesn't stop us to go forward. In fact, more fun endowed us as we fight to go forward. Cheers mates!
Then, we stopped near by a valley and hiked up the small hill where we were introduced to a couple (A Norwegian and a local). The place where they stay called Kura-kura Homestay where, people like us can have a night or two there to explore the adventurous activities and feast the delicious local delicacies. Out of the sudden, Miss Lau laugh out loud (LOL)....We all paused for a moment..What's happening? Everyone is asking. ''OMG, the lady speaks in Foochow, Teochiew, Hakka, Hokkien and Mandarin', said Miss Lau. What the...............(Everyone stood still). Is so owesome! hahaha.........(laughter filled the thin air). As usual, we took a picture with the couple before we left.
Alright!..The journey continue until we reached a small valley where we are asked by Francis to behold the beauty of the rocks in a small hiding place. Everyone take out their cameras and capture those rocks. Not to be forgotten, Albert is our official cameraman and while he called out, 'Hey everyone, look at the camera'. Guess what? The word in hokkien (Wah Sei) came out from his mouth. Huh? What that's. Oh, he showed us the picture he just took and I am the only person who looked at the camera..Thanks to Albert..Cheers!
Finally, we reached the ending point at Kampung Semadang after a 10 minutes paddle. We took a quick shower and ready to depart. All of us enjoyed the trip and and finally we all became good friends. The whole journey took us about 3 hours. Though is tired physically but it was fun and enjoyable. What a memorable day and we plan for our next kayaking trip which is at Bako. hahaha......Story will continue when the day comes.
